A bus system has a master unit (M51,M61) and slave units (S51-S54,S61-S64) all interlinked via a bus (BUS51). Switches (SW51-SW54) fit in each section between two slave units. Each slave unit has a bus incoming connection (BUSIN) linked to a bus outgoing connection (BUSOUT). Bus sections (BUS61-BUS64) and wires joining the incoming/outgoing connections of each slave unit correspond to the bus.
