<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical radio communication apparatus which is suppressed in circuit scale, simpler and more efficient. <P>SOLUTION: When an optical line is idle, an optical radio hub 100 transmits a burst-like optical line idle signal to all of a plurality of optical radio nodes 200, and monitors optical reception from the optical radio nodes in a quiescent period of the optical line idle signal. When there are transmission data to the optical radio hub, the optical radio nodes transmit the data in a quiescent period of the optical line idle signal, and monitor a collision notification signal from the optical radio hub. When the data received in the quiescent period of the optical line idle signal cannot be decoded, the optical radio hub transmits a collision notification signal having a pattern different from communication data to all the plurality of optical radio nodes. When receiving the collision notification signal, the optical radio nodes which are transmitting data and monitoring the collision notification signal suspends data transmission to perform collision processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
