<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit an excavating range at the maximum and shorten an excavating time at the maximum when renewing a pipe including a bent piping section. <P>SOLUTION: When the existing buried pipe having the bent piping section and a straight piping section is renewed, a new pipe 2 for the bent piping section is laid by removing the existing pipe 1c for the bent piping section with an excavating work, and a new pipe 4 for the straight piping section is laid by inserting it into the existing pipe 1 for the straight piping section without any excavating work.
