PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a more recommended route through which a car will drive from now on. SOLUTION: Points 61-70 are taken in the order of nearer position to a place 60 where one is now on a recommended route 50, and in the relation between coordinates P<SB>0</SB>(x<SB>0</SB>, y<SB>0</SB>) of the place 60 and coordinates P<SB>n</SB>(x<SB>n</SB>, y<SB>n</SB>) (n=1-10) of the points 61-70, it is confirmed that the range from the place 60 to which point P<SB>n</SB>(n≥1) can be displayed in the display area of a monitoring screen. In accordance with the confirmed result, the place 60 is displayed apart from the center of the monitoring screen.
