PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling efficiency of an electric motor in an electric vehicle provided with the electric motor. SOLUTION: A heat radiation device 6 is arranged in a lower part of a main electric motor 2 so that its heat radiation face becomes parallel with the floor surface 10 of a vehicle body and opposes to a road surface. Moreover, a loop type thin heat pipe for circulating a refrigerant by utilizing the heat energy of a heat generation source is used as a heat transportation pipe 8 for transporting heat generated by the main electric motor 2 into the heat radiation device 6.
