PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inversion in gradation and change in hue as main problems which are prone to occur on a multiple domain liquid crystal display device, and to reduce the secondary problems of the device structure such as fall-off of operational speed, degradation of brightness, and flicker generation to solve the main problems. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, a plurality of gate lines extending in the direction of the raw, and a plurality of data lines extending in the direction of the column, and each pixel is connected to one gate line, and at least the pixels of one column are alternately connected to the adjacent two data lines at least in one row unit. In one data line, the pixels are supplied with data signals inverted in polarity in one unit, and thereby the pixels of one column are provided with the data signals of the same polarity at least.
