PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a scope and a processor unit with a minimized number of power source wires and signal lines by sharing the wires and the lines. SOLUTION: One coaxial cable 10 is arranged between the scope A and the processor unit B, an image signal is overlapped onto a supply power source of the coaxial cable 10 with a waveform overlapping circuit 17 of the scope A, while, for example, a processor side reference pulse is overlapped thereon during the blanking period of the first horizontal line signal in the first field of the image signal with a waveform overlapping circuit 24 of the processor unit B. In the scope A, the reference pulse is separated with a waveform separation circuit 16 and various timing signals synchronizing the pulse are generated with a timing generator 19 to enable the sharing of the power source wires and the signal lines. In a power source receiving/supplying circuit 14 of the scope A, the supply power source is used by the full-wave rectification thereof with a full-wave rectification circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
