PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost rotary electrical part suitable for size reduction. SOLUTION: The rotary electrical part includes a substrate 8 made of an insulator having a conductive pattern 11, and a rotary body 6 made of a synthetic resin material for holding this substrate 8. This substrate 8 includes two pairs of side faces 8a, 8b facing in a parallel state with each other. The rotary body 6 has at least four holding pieces 6d provided to be projected from below a bottom wall 6a. The four pieces 6d are respectively brought into contact with four side faces 8a, 8b. Since the substrate 8 is mounted at the rotary body 6, in a state in which the substrate 8 is held from four sides, the substrate 8 can be separated from the rotary body 6, its material cost is less expensive than in prior art, and the low-cost electrical part can be obtained.
