PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for analyzing sample molecules, e.g. biological materials, which can carry out the analysis with high accuracy by using easy operations. SOLUTION: In the method, solution which contains the sample molecules and solution which contains molecules for forming a complex are poured into a channel so as to form a laminar flow, and variations of diffusion of the complex formed by the sample molecule and the complex forming molecule in the laminar flow are detected and analyzed. The method employs a material with a fluorescent property as the complex forming molecule and includes a means which detects the variation of diffusion of the formed complex based on the intensity of the fluorescence and a means which determines the concentration of the sample molecule by comparing the diffusion of the formed complex with a previously formed calibration curve.
