PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display wheel, not including a process for reprinting characters. SOLUTION: A double structure obtained by adhering a gear member 11 and a date character printing member 12 respectively made out of independent members after adjusting a date character position, is applied in the date indicator. That is, the gear member 11 provided with inner teeth 11a on the inner peripheral side and an annular projection 11b on the outer peripheral side, and the data character printing member 12 having the data characters printed on a date character printing face 12a of the annular plate member are prepared, the data character position is decided in an assembling process of a movement, and then the date character printing member 12 is fixed to the gear member 11 at the decided data character position by adhering or welding to manufacture the date indicator.
