PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator-freezer capable of making nearly transparent ice in response to ice use frequency, good at taking out ice without impairing easiness in taking out stored matters in a refrigeration chamber of high operation frequency, saving energy, and capable of effectively using space. SOLUTION: In a refrigerator provided with a plurality of storage chambers, a refrigeration chamber provided at an upper part of the refrigerator, a minus temperature zone storage chamber provided in the refrigerating chamber and set in a minus temperature zone less than or equal to -3°C, and higher than or equal to -13°C, and an ice making tray provided in the minus temperature zone storage chamber and capable of making ice are provided, and nearly transparent ice can be made in the refrigeration chamber.
