PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device equipped with a detachable operating means which can be easily detached, not making load on the front end side of a door larger. SOLUTION: The operating means 4 is detachably attached to the door 3 from a stile surface 3a on the front end side of the door 3. An operation rod 39 of a hollow pipe in the vertical direction is rotatably provided to the front end part of the door 3. When the operating means 4 is detachable, a drive engaging section 48a of an operating shaft 47 rotatable in the vertical direction of the operating means 4 is detachable to a follower engaging section 49a of the operation rod 39. Then, the operation rod 39 is simply detachable because it is not moved downward by its self-weight. The movement in the vertical direction of the operation rod 39 is not supported so that a large supporting section is eliminated to make the door 3 lighten. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
