PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means that precisely sets the arrival timing of the bolus of a contrast medium when the medium is used for improving the luminance of a blood vessel or bloodstream at the time of performing contrast-medium MRA. SOLUTION: In order to generate a contrast medium angiogram, a luminance improving contrast medium is injected into a patient. The central part of the oval of a k-space and a first peripheral region is continuously sampled. Each central data set portion is rebuilt to a low-resolution amount and the maximum intensity is projected upon a line. The projection of the maximum intensity is processed so as to detect the arrival of a luminance improving bolus in an amount of interest. After the arrival of the bolus is detected, the acquirement of a high-resolution magnetic resonance blood vessel angiogram is triggered and a higher phase encoded part in the k-space is sampled. Then the central data set along a higher phase-encoded view is rebuilt to the high-resolution magnetic resonance blood vessel angiogram. This technique allows almost the latency between the detection of the luminance improving contract medium bolus and the acquirement of the magnetic resonance blood vessel angiogram.
