A process computer (71) controls in turn the feed dosage supplied to each feeding trough (61.1-61.6) by pump (12), main pipe line (30) and individual feed valves (63.1-63.6). Additive mixed in a preparation unit (40) with its own controller (72) is fed from an additive pipe line (50) supplied by a pump (42) through additive valves (52.1-52.6). The feed valves and additive valves are mechanically linked so that when the feed valve opens/closes so does the additive valve.
