PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control method capable of guaranteeing printing even when printing is not completed normally.

SOLUTION: When a host side lapses into power OFF, a print job with a possibility of having trouble is restored from an intermediate file stored without a notification of completion on a host in a next host activation and managed (step S1102). When reprinting is indicated (YES of step S1104), print job preparation is generated again from the intermediate file with respect to the indicated print job (step S1105), and a printing process S1001 is carried out again.
