<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproduction apparatus and an acoustic reproduction method, whereby two listeners placed side by side in a place such as a car copartment can respectively obtain an excellent stereo sound field. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic reproduction apparatus for reproducing a stereo audio signal comprising a left audio signal and a right audio signal, includes: a left speaker; a right speaker; a correction speaker; a subtractor for generating a difference signal between the left audio signal and the right audio signal; a delay unit for delaying the difference signal; and a correction amplifier for amplifying the delayed difference signal and outputting the delayed difference signal to the correction speaker, and the correction speaker is structured to emit sound waves with the same amplitude whose phases are inverted to each other to the left and right of the correction speaker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
