PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder that can perform a high speed recording of high quality images by eliminating variation in image quality caused by a superposing order of dots of different kinds of inks, and to provide a method of recording, a program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A region where dots of different kinds of inks are formed is defined as a recording region of superposed dots. In the recording region including at least the recording region of the superposed dots, the recording is performed by a uni-directional recording operation.
