PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoulder pad for preventing discomfort and pains in the periphery of the nape of the neck and preventing load on the mitral nape. SOLUTION: A shoulder belt 2 suspending a carried material 3 is diagonally laid on the shoulder, and the shoulder pad 1 is placed and fixed on the acromion of a carrying person P by a positioning belt 13 so that the shoulder pad 1 will not come into contact with the periphery of the nape of the neck. Thus, the shoulder belt 2 where the weight of the carried material 3 is applied will not be placed on the mitral nape, so that the pains in the shoulder of the carrying person P can be largely decreased. Even if the carried material 3 is swung up and down and right and left, the shoulder pad 1 is always fixed to the acromion, and with the movement of the carried material 3, the shoulder belt 2 is freely moved to a shoulder belt fitting part 12 so as to improve work efficiency.
