PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band stop filter suitable for incorporation in a multilayer structure. SOLUTION: The filter is provided with a transmission line 1 constituting a main line, an input terminal 3a disposed at one end of the transmission line 1, an output terminal 3b arranged at the other end of the transmission line 1 and a plurality of open stubs 2A and 2B where an input susceptance becomes "0" in the center frequency of a pass band. The open stubs 2A and 2B are connected to the transmission line at an interval of about 1/4 wavelength of the center frequency. In at least one of the open stubs 2A and 2B, a prescribed frequency where the input susceptance becomes infinite differs from the prescribed frequency of the other open stub. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
