PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize bypass currents of respective cells, even in the case there are fluctuations in Zener voltage of a Zener diode of a current bypass circuit. SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 is constituted by connecting n pieces of cell 11 in series, and the current bypass circuit 3 is connected between both terminals of the respective cells 11. The current bypass circuit 3 is constituted by the Zener diode 12 and a themosensitive resistor 13. The themosensitive resistor 13 has a positive temperature characteristic, and is constituted by connection to the Zener diode 12 in series. In the case there is the fluctuations in the Zener voltage of the Zener diode 12 and the cell has a low Zener voltage, in a situation that a larger bypass current than those of other cells is going to flow when the terminal voltage of the cell is elevated in charging and the bypass current of the cell flows, because the bypass current is suppressed by the increase of resistance value by self-heating of the themosensitive resistor 13, the bypass currents of respective cells are equalized.
