PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-layer gasket in which an annular horizontal part and an annular half bead are provided around a liquid hole so as to secure even and uniform bearing pressure around the liquid hole. SOLUTION: In the single-layer gasket, the annular horizontal part 5 and the annular half bead 4 having smaller width than the annular horizontal part has are provided around a fluid hole 2 of an elastic plate 1. The width around the fluid hole 2 of the annular half bead 4 is changed with reference to a far and near position from a bolt hole 3 to the annular half bead 4 which is formed in the prescribed position geometrically decided on the elastic plate 1 in advance, thereby securing uniform bearing pressure around the fluid hole 2.
