PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an anisotropic light-scattering sheet excellent in optical and thermal characteristics simply and in good efficiency. SOLUTION: This anisotropic light-scattering sheet is provided by constituting a continuous phase with a plasticized cellulose derivative and a dispersed phase with a thermoplastic resin having a different refractive index from that of the cellulose derivative. The cellulose derivative is allowed to be a cellulose ester, and the thermoplastic resin is allowed to be an olefinic resin, a styrene-based resin, a (meth)acrylic resin, a polyester-based resin, a polycarbonate-based resin, etc. The anisotropic light-scattering sheet is produced by melting/kneading a resin composition composed of the plasticized cellulose derivative and the thermoplastic resin, extruding and film-forming while drawing.
