PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily dyeable aromatic polyamide fiber providing a fiber having flame retardancy with excellent washing durability after dyeing, and providing no fear of an environmental problem caused by a halogen compound. SOLUTION: The easily dyeable meta-type aromatic polyamide fiber contains a non-halogen aromatic condensed-type phosphoric acid ester represented by the formula (wherein, R is a non-halogen phenyl group; X is a bisphenol-A residue; and n is an integer of 1-3) in a fiber comprising a meta-type aromatic polyamide having 85 mol% m-phenylene isophthalamide unit based on the whole repeating unit.
