PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste treating equipment by which recovery of solid from organic waste in a solid and liquid mixed condition is improved, and water content of the solid obtained at a dehydration section is also reduced. SOLUTION: The organic waste treating equipment is constituted by providing with the dehydration section 1 having: a pressure type straining dehydrator 13 for solid-liquid separation by pressure filtration of a solid liquid mixture; and a horizontal centrifugal dehydrator 17 for separating the solid which is not separated from and is still contained in the separation liquid separated by the pressure type straining dehydrator 13 by centrifugal sedimentation by rotation of a rotor having a rotary axis in a horizontal direction. Thereby, at first comparatively large solid is separated by the pressure type straining dehydrator 13, and then comparatively minute solid is separated and recovered by the horizontal centrifugal dehydrator 17 to improve recovering efficiency of the solid. Further, water content of the solid obtained at the dehydration section is reduced by using the pressure type straining dehydrator 13 for reducing water content and the horizontal centrifugal dehydrator 17 dispensing with stripping of the solid with water, and then by blending the solids recovered with these dehydrators.
