PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new shredder to be fed with a large amount of materials to be shredded such as waste paper at a time and having sufficient shredding ability and a reduced size and further produced at a lower cost. SOLUTION: This shredder is provided with a hopper to store the materials to be shredded, a shredding means for shredding the materials to be shredded which are fed from the hopper, and a storage box for shredded wastes of the shredded materials cut by the shredding means. The shredding means is constituted of one shaft formed of a cutter block comprising a plurality of disk-shaped rotary cutters fitted with edges arranged on an outer periphery in combination with a fixed cutter configured to engage with the cutter block.
