<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely maintain a required clamping state and prevent an excessive surface pressure from acting on a unit cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 is provided with a laminated body 14 with a plurality of unit cells 12 laminated, and end plates 20a, 20b arranged at either end of the laminated body in a lamination direction are integrally combined through a casing 26.
