<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing a pile fabric enabling the printing of a hazy colorful tone and easy manufacturing of the pile fabric in a short delivery period. <P>SOLUTION: This method for printing the pile fabric is provided by bleaching the yarn main bodies 11 of weft yarns before weaving for improving water absorption, while attaching paste for sizing on the surface of the yarn main bodies 13 of a warp yarn and pile yarn before weaving, manufacturing the pile fabric by weaving the weft yarns, warp yarn and pile yarn, printing a colored paste obtained by adding a pigment to a water soluble binder on the pile fabric at prescribed parts. The printed color pastes 15, 17 infiltrate into the inside of the main bodies 11 of the weft yarn since they have a high water absorption, but slightly on the outer surface of the yarn main bodies 13 of the warp yarn and pile yarn since they have a low water absorption. By bleaching the pile fabric after the printing, most of the color paste 19 remains in the yarn main bodies 11 of the weft yarns and the color paste 20 remains only slightly on the yarn main bodies 13 of the warp yarn and pile yarn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
