摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a metallic outer ring member and a protective cap made of resins have different thermal expansion coefficients, it tends to generate a gap between the outer ring member and the protective cap and causes muddy water or the like to easily intrude inside a rolling bearing for an axle when temperatures of the outer ring member and the protective cap are risen by use of a rolling bearing device for an axle in the rolling bearing device for the axle. SOLUTION: It is possible to prevent the muddy water or the like from intruding inside the bearing by securing sealing performance by preventing the gap from generating between the outer ring member and the protective cap by axial expansion of an elastic member 25 in a state of contact with both of them by arranging the elastic member 25, which elastically follows the displacement in the axial direction of both end faces in accordance with the difference between the thermal expansion ratios of both the outer ring member 2 and the protective cap 18, between opposing faces in both axial directions of the outer ring member 2 and a stopper part 23 when the temperatures of the outer ring member 2 and the protective cap 18 having different thermal expansion ratios are risen by use of the rolling bearing device 1 for the axle.
