PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable inkjet recorder by removing dust captured by a filter provided in a head without wasting ink. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder comprises an inkjet recording head, and an ink reservoir being coupled with an ink channel between the head and a filter. When dust captured by the filter is removed, ink is taken out from the ink reservoir while preventing outflow of ink to the head, and returned back to the ink tank while removing dust through the filter.
