PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device on which both data of digital signals and analog signals can be transferred efficiently without damaging the data. SOLUTION: According to the semiconductor device, a DMA (direct memory access) 27 of an I/F (interface) controller 11 controls data transfer between a 1394 I/F 21 and a system bus 13, as well as between an AV I/F 22 and the system bus 13. A channel of the DMA 27 is allocated for the data transfer between the AV I/F 22 and the system bus 13, which is carried out using pseudo-isochronous packets to reduce data transfer load between the AV I/F 22 and the system bus 13.
