PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a tab terminal that is improved compared to a conventional apparatus, consumes less electrode, and does not require a complicated mechanism such as a linearly reciprocating drive mechanism, or the like. SOLUTION: The tab terminal is placed on an insulation board 3 that faces a stop point (5) of a turn table B, and the tip of an electrode 4 is placed facing the tip of the tab terminal T held by a conductive carrier 2, at a distance of a few mm from the tab terminal. The electrode 4 and carrier 2 are connected to a high power supply 5, which is turned on by a timing signal from a control unit for atmospheric discharging between the electrode 4 and tab terminal T.
