PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer pump for surely discharging a washing liquid from a liquid discharge port even when a water film is formed on a filter by purging a pump chamber to produce negative pressure in the pump chamber leading to the suction of the washing liquid into the the pump chamber while breaking the water film on the filter. SOLUTION: The washer pump 10 comprises a case 11 in which a motor chamber 11A storing an armature 20 to be energized for rotation and the pump chamber 11B storing an impeller 22 joined to an armature shaft 21 of the armature 20 for rotation are provided in partitioned relation. The washing liquid W is sucked from a liquid suction port 16 into the pump chamber 11B with the rotation of the impeller 22 and discharged from the liquid discharge port 18. A vent hole 12f is provided in a partition wall 12c which partitions the pump chamber 11B from the liquid suction port 16. The filter 30 for filtering the washing liquid W is detachably mounted in the liquid suction port 16 and an air passage 34 communicating with the vent hole 12f is provided in the filter 30.
