PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet position regulation device favorable in operability capable of easily positioning a side guide. SOLUTION: This sheet position regulation device to regulate a position of a sheet placed on a sheet placing surface constitutes its characteristic feature that its regulating means has a pinion 63 mounted on the sheet placing surface free to rotate, racks 61a, 61b engaged with this pinion 63 and mounted on the sheet placing surface in parallel with guide lines 90a, 90b and the side guides 60a, 60b fixed on these racks 61a, 61b and that untoothed parts 70a, 70b, 70c, 70d which are load changing means are provided on the racks 61a, 61b.
