PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a bag with a chuck without using a tape by eliminating the problem of producing defectives due to heat-sealing of the chuck caused by direct contact of ribbon pieces with each other at the time of the heat sealing of the ribbon piece of the chuck and increase in cost caused by use of a tape originally unnecessary for the bag with the chuck in a method of sealing by inserting the tape having a non-welding surface on one surface thereof as a means for preventing the mutual adhesion of the chucks. SOLUTION: An intermittent apparatus of chucks in a bag making machine is constituted so that a rubber plate 27 having elasticity is interposed between the chucks. By this constitution, the mutual welding of the chucks is prevented and the chuck bag uniformly sealed over the total length of a seal and having a beautiful seal one is obtained to reduce cost.
