PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive dishwasher which securely judges abnormality in a water supply means. SOLUTION: When a main switch is turned on after finishing washing, this dishwasher prohibits control of hot water supply to a rinsing hot water tank at a step 136 and thereafter operates a rinsing pump for a prescribed period at a step 138 to adjust the water level in the rinsing hot water tank to be temporarily lower than a prescribed water level. Then, while keeping the state of prohibiting the control of hot water supply, the dishwasher judges whether any abnormality has occurred in a hot water supply pipe and a hot water supply bulb by detecting in a step 106 whether the water level in the rinsing hot water tank has reached the prescribed water level.
