PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRET hybridization probe giving improved signal strength and considerably wide dynamic range independently of type of applied identification pigments. SOLUTION: The FRET hybridization probe pair comprises the first oligonucleotide having an FRET donor substance and the second oligonucleotide having an FRET acceptor substance, wherein an oligonucleotide having a donor fluorescent substance has at least one second substance and the second substance is a compound extinguishing fluorescene of the donor fluorescent substance.
