Insulating partitions with polystyrene filled tubes

A roof is insulated by providing a large number of tubes to fill the space under the tiles and between the rafters, the tubes being filled with granulated polystyrene which is blown into the tubes under pressure. Plates are provided to fasten the tubes to the rafters.
