PURPOSE: A clothes drier is provided to improve energy efficiency by shortening drying hours, and to prevent damage of clothes from excessive drying concentration by drying clothes evenly with selectively flowing hot blast from a heater into front and rear parts of the drying drum and discharging air through the opposite. CONSTITUTION: A clothes drier comprises a drying drum rotated and installed in a body; a first connection duct(107) communicated with the rear part of the drying drum; a second connection duct(108) communicated with the front of the drying drum; a heater(105) heating suction air; a hot blast supply duct(106) guiding air heated by the heater; a suction guide duct(109) communicated with first and second connection ducts and the hot blast supply duct; a discharge duct(115) discharging hot blast; a blower fan forcibly sucking external air and blowing; a discharge guide duct(110) communicated with first and second connection ducts and the discharge duct; a first passage control valve(112) installed in the suction guide duct to selectively connect the hot blast supply duct to the first or second connection duct; and a second passage control valve(113) installed in the discharge guide duct to selectively connect the discharge duct to the first or second connection duct.
