PURPOSE: A crosshead having a vacuum device is provided to prevent the deterioration of eccentricity of extrusion molded cable coating and to improve the adhesive strength of the cable coating. CONSTITUTION: In a crosshead having a vacuum pump for sucking melted resin, a body(280) has an injection port(290) for injecting the melted resin. A cylindrical carrier(240) is located at the center of the body, and forms an extruding passage through the resin passes. A hollow(221) is formed at the center of the carrier. A funnel-shaped guide(200) has a cylindrical groove(222) identical to the hollow in diameter. A heat-resistant connection tube(220) connects the hollow to the cylindrical groove. A front needle(260) is joined to the body, seals the body up, and fixes the carrier. A die(230) is formed at predetermined intervals from the outer surface of the guide.
