CRT INCLUDING TENSION MASK WITH HOLES IN SHORT SIDE

PURPOSE: A CRT including tension mask with holes in short side is provided to prevent effectively a doming phenomenon as a result of being good heat conduction by reducing a heat capacity and maintaining largely a width of short side non-hole part at a tension mask. CONSTITUTION: A CRT including tension mask with holes in short side comprises an electron gun radiating an electron beams, a tension mask, and an attenuating device(9). The tension mask includes a center part arranged in a lattice shape and having a plurality of slots(7) passing selectively the electron beams radiated from the electron gun, and a plurality of holes at both short side parts within an edge of the center part. The attenuating device(9) has the short side part of the tension mask within and supports the tension mask.
