PURPOSE: An oil breather mounting structure is provided to prevent an unnecessary consumption of engine oil and degradation of engine performance. CONSTITUTION: An oil breather(1) is mounted on a rocker cover(RC) and connected to a discharge line(4) for discharging gas. The rocker cover is arranged to cover the upper portion of the engine equipped with a rocker assembly including valve open/shut members. The oil breather is arranged to avoid interferences with the rocker assembly mounted in the rocker cover. The oil breather includes a case formed integrally with an upper connection side surface(R') of the rocker cover, wherein the case forms a gas flow channel bent by 90 degrees with respect to the discharge line connector which is arranged horizontally to the rocker cover; a screen embedded in the case so as to filter an engine oil from a gas; and a plug coupled to the bottom of the case in such a manner that the plug supports the screen.
