The present invention relates to a herb extract comprising Withania Somniferum and Astragalus Membranaceus. The present invention furthermore relates to the use of such a herb extract for preparing a medicine for enhancing the condition of animals, in which herb extract Withania Somniferum and Astragalus Membranaceus are present in a joint amount of at least 20 wt. %, based on the total weight of the herb extract.
