Load sharing in SS7 networks

An SS7 (Signalling System 7) network load sharing procedure uses the bits of the routing label SI (Service Indicator) field in addition to the usual SLS (Signalling Link Selection) field to create an index list for possible links so as to share the load over links (L00..31) or link sets (LS0..3) between two signalling points (A - F) using a signalling transfer point (B, C, D, E, B', D').
