Teletext apparatus that displays two or more pages concurrently

Television apparatus having a teletext function including means for storing teletext pages and control means to display a plurality of pages concurrently. Preferably a menu is provided to allow a user to select either a first mode in which a single teletext page is displayed and a second mode in which two pages are displayed side by side. The teletext pages may include main pages and corresponding sub-pages which may be displayed on the partitioned views of the display in a determined order of page numbers.
