<p>(A) Cpds. (I) R =(1-10C) Oalkyl, Ph or p-F.C6H4- (B) Salts of I. Anthelmintics. Dose 5-125 mg/kg. X = H, hal, SO2 alkyl, or SO2 aryl. If X = H, the reagent is an oxidising agent, e.g. MnI2, Pb(OAc)4, HgO, used in 1-5 mol. excess If X is not = H, ring closure may be achieved by treatment with a base, e.g. NaOH, NaH, Na2CO3 or amine; or by a free radical reaction initiated chemically, e.g. H2O2, peracid, or by u.v. radn.</p> |
