EXTERNAL INTERFACE DEVICE OF GAME TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An external interface device of a game terminal is provided to connect a game terminal to a computer at the minimum cost without using an additional power converting module. CONSTITUTION: An external interface device of a game terminal is operated as a half-duplex method in at least two electrical potentials including an internal operation electrical potential and a bipolar communication electrical potential between the first polarity having a higher operation electrical potential than the internal operation electrical potential and the second polarity having a negative electrical potential. The first communication power supply unit(30) includes the first capacitor connected to the first signal line having a communication electrical potential(+VEE) of the first polarity at an inactive state out of interface signal lines with a host computer. The second communication power supply unit(40) includes the second capacitor connected to the second signal line having a communication electrical potential(-VEE) of the second polarity at an inactive state out of the interface signal lines with the host computer. A data transmitting unit(10) includes an amplification terminal which biases the first communication power supply unit(30) and the second communication power supply unit(40), amplifies a level of a data transmission signal from the game terminal, and transmits the data transmission signal to the host computer through the third signal line. A data receiving unit(20) reduces a level of the data transmission signal from the host computer being transmitted through the fourth signal line and transmits the data transmission signal to the game terminal.
