PURPOSE: A method for playing audio/video streaming contents is provided to control a moving time by selection of a user in executing an FF function or a REW function. CONSTITUTION: A timer and a counter for counting execution frequencies of an FF(Fast Forward) function or a REW(Rewind) function are initialized(S101). The FF function or the REW function is executed(S102). The timer is automatically started, and the counter counts the execution frequencies(S103). It is judged whether the FF function is executed again for a predetermined timer setup time(S104,S105). If not, it is judged whether the execution frequencies of the FF function or the REW function is more than one time(S106). If so, contents move forward or backward as much as multiplying the execution frequencies by a second setup time(S107). If not, contents move forward or backward as much as a first setup time(S108).
