Apparatus 1 for mounting a television (2, fig.5) comprises a support 3 and a housing 4 for a set top box means, arranged so that in use the housing 4 is between the support 3 and the television (2, fig.5). Preferably the housing 4 comprises an assembly of two tray-like parts 4', 4'', one being inverted relative to the other, and secured together by tamper-proof securing elements 12, which may be securing elements. The support may comprise a member 6 supporting the housing so as to allow it to swivel about a substantially vertical axis, and slide members 9 so that the housing 4 may be moved in a direction substantially at right angles to the vertical axis. The support 3 may also be adapted for securing to a substrate, preferably to be screwed to an item of furniture. The slide members 9 may be telescopic and arranged as c-shaped channel sections. |
