PURPOSE: A chess with a voice output function is provided to arouse more interest in a chess game, and to enable people with visual disabilities to take participate in the chess game as well. CONSTITUTION: The chess is a game in which players move chess pieces on a chess board. Each of the chess pieces has a switch input(100) for detecting a stationary state of the chess piece; a memory(400) for storing a variety of music and voices; a voice controller(200) for receiving a detected signal from the switch input(100), selectively fetching music or voice from the memory(400), and outputting the fetched music or voice; and a speaker(300) for outputting the music or the voice from the voice controller(200) to the outside.
