<p>A private telecommunication network optimization procedure to transfer a SIP (Session Initialization Protocol) to QSIG network link between terminals (IPT1, IPT2) first links the terminals via the gateway (GW), and switches (P1, P2) using messages (S1, 2) from the first terminal to the switch (P1) and then (S3, 4) from the switch to the second terminal followed by setting up a link between the terminals within the SIP network and release of the external links.
